1/1 Printing Plate and Anouncement
It is hard to see, but it is a 2009 Bowman Chrome Kevin Youkilis 1/1 printing plate. It is the cyan plate. I have a couple more cards coming soon, and eventually a box of 2009 Ballpark Collection! Also, Upper Deck just released that they will be making Legendary Cuts again this year, but it will have a different format. There will be 1 card per pack, and that card will be a cut autograph of a retired MLB player, or a president. Of the 200 card checklist, 91 cards feature a hall of famer. The product will now feature cut autogaph foldout, much like the murderers row cut. They have not released a suggested retail price, but it will most likely be a tad pricey. I will most likely be busting a box of this when it is released!

2011 American League Predictions
Hey, everyone.
It's now 19 Hours and counting until opening day, and I'm as ecstatic as ever. Here are my predictions for the upcoming season. We'll see my prediction ability (or lack there of) come October. Without further haste, here they are, with reasons supporting the method to my madness! (
American League
East: Boston Red Sox 101-61
Why? The reloaded Red Sox have bolstered their bullpen and acquired slugging 1B Adrian Gonzalez and speedy outfielder Carl Crawford. This year, there should be a great output from both pitching and offense.
Central: Minnesota Twins 92-70
Why? The Twins always seem to find a way to emerge at the top of the AL Central, with Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau leading the way. But, the later of the two is the key. If Morneau can return from his concussion to his 30-and-100 ways, the Twins should be just fine.
West: Texas 89-71
Why? Texas is the reigning AL Champions, and, although it is extremely unlikely it will happen this year, they know what it's like and they'll just want it again. However, with the loss of ace Cliff Lee to the Phillies, it will be a tough year.
ALCS: Boston over New York
World Series: Boston over Philadelphia

2011 TPP 2.0
After the TPP custom set went live, I automatically was thinking of a way to improve the set. Why not use a new design that's even better? I was thinking that I could make cards from both sets now, and I will also take requests for either set. Note: I will continue the current insert sets that I have for both products. We are currently working out a way to get these cards in-hand to everyone.

Hey, everyone. I just set up our official YouTube page over at youtube.com/ThePackProdigy. We'll post breaks and more over there, so be sure to check us out!
My Bold Attempt....
Hey, everyone. After careful consideration, I decided that I am going to pursue the entire set of 2006 UD Future Stars Clear Path to Greatness RC Autos. Some of the highlights include Jon Lester, Josh Johnson, and Justin Verlander, to name a few. Bold? Maybe. Too expensive? Doubtful. Quality Set with a sweet design? Absolutely.
Take a look at the design for this set, and try to tell me that some genius over at UD didn't burn the midnight oil thinking this up (If only that was the case today and they weren't involved in sketchy legal affairs). There's 83 Cards to Collect, and I'm not going for the red sigs, so this shouldn't be too hard to collect.

New Custom (Plus 20youk's "Crusade for the Card Rainbow")
Hey, everyone. I just made a new custom for the TPP Insert Set. Check it out!
Also, I'd like to make a shout out to anyone on the card blogosphere who was any knowledge of a 2010 Topps Chrome Kevin Youkilis SuperFractor. You know it begins to become an issue when countless hours of google searching are of no avail, and that's why we need your help for 20youksox's...
CRUSADE FOR THE CARD RAINBOW!
Thanks everyone. Each tick of that countdown clock just builds more and more anticipation for what promises to be a truly great season of Major League Baseball. I can't wait!

Today's Pickups
Hey, everyone. I checked out a new card store today in Abbington, MA called "The Bleacher". I really liked it, and considering there are two more card stores within 6 miles of this one, it is inevitable that I will eventually be doing...THE BATTLE OF THE HOBBY STORES. As for pickups, I bought a pack of 2010 Upper Deck and a pack of 2011 Topps, and several singles including a 2006 David Ortiz Turkey Red Jsy, 2001 Just Minors Adrian Gonzalez Gold, 1998-1999 Topps Paul Pierce RC, and a 2010 UD Sonny Gray Jsy. Pics below for a couple of the cards!

2011 Topps Allen and Ginter Preview!
jumbo state box-loader
univited guest insert
flora of the world insert
animals in peril insert
This year, Topps Allen and Ginter is back and better than ever. Many new and interesting insert sets will hit the market including uninvited geusts, floating fortresses, minds that made the future, and others. The mini cards will have the same variations, except that this year's cloth cards will only feature 150 subjects. The product will have the same configuration as previous years including 3 hits per box. I was told by Chris Olds that Kevin Youkilis does have a relic in the set!!! Other key relics include Albert Pujols,Ichiro, Ryan Howard, and Derek Jeter. Top autos include Albert Pujols, Ryan Howard, Jason Heyward, Aroldis Chapman, and Joe Mauer. Box-loaders will feature the usual n43 cards, but will also include jumbo state die cut cards that can be put together to form a map of the United States.
